Annette Sonnewend invites the public to a casting of her movie Le Moment: A particular meeting, a game (instructions given). The work is a visual discourse between film, fiction and reality. The main statement of the intervention is : To cry, to be afraid, to be glad, to die and maybe also to live, is much easier in a movie than in real life.
Annette Sonnewend deals with the fact that many people like to play roles, like to be someone else for a moment Although everybody can spontaniously empathize with a fictional character and can try to imitate its behavior in every day life, it seems that every single emotion, every meeting with a new person in a new context is unique and impossible to copy. It is this inevitable specificity of each single moment, the artiste explores in her work.
